Beyond The Farthest Horizon Poem by Sven Rhoads

Beyond The Farthest Horizon

Every castle of sand will fall to the waves
While the ghost among man wants to sleep in his grave
The empty of a heart just looks for the meaning
It cannot explain why things always end the same
As each shooting star comes crashing to the earth
Every single thing comes to questions its worth
The beaten soul wants to know what its dying for
It cannot explain why the story goes on and on

Somewhere there are answers I've been searching
To give me the closure to racing of my mind
In nowhere I have heard the northern winds have spoken
That I must journey beyond the farthest horizon

Where I can find the answers to soothe my soul

Every wolf cries its heart out to the moon
While the brightest stars burn the fastest glow
The broken heart still craves the velvet touch
But it cant explain why this world is so cold
As a drop of ink will fall on the page soon
Of the desolation that I have come to know
When simplicity has become a crawl through broken glass
It wont justify how its the same old song

And I've seen how the flower opens
To bare all its beauty to the world
One day I will bring about a new way
And you will see my progress bloom
