Thanks for inviting me to read. I like the interjections, the pauses that they demand to be emphasised, as it really teams well with the rhyme to undermine the last stanza where you call the people accusing you of being mad, mistaken. They add together to create the image of a wide eyed person, that ironically looks at nothing, just stares through everything, with the contrast and indecision of holding both a rose and a gun, telling everyone they are sane. Very powerful. And I'm not totally sure which is more dangerous; the gun, or the rose...
