This poem goes to......................MyPoenmList after I put here a 10 Topscore for this impressing poem. Such a loveliest and precious gem to my heart. Thank you so m uch for sharuing this gem, great poetess!
Perfectly captured, comprehensively and dashingly worded, I so admired these exploding emotions from your deep inside. You thought you might be pulverized after those stones having been thrown simultaneously, I have no doubt, you are stronger than you think and you posses more power in your emotional inside. I knew these situations too well, dear Mrs. Juan-Austin. You are the survival of the smartest, I reckon. Sublimest gem, so true
Please don't be double stranded.. Stick to the ethics of your crowned poem 'absolute power'. The whole world including PH are watching...
Betwixt extreme right And extreme left. simultaneously from both sides. a very fine poem and a new experience. tony
Nicely written verse, but the question is, can anyone really stay always in the middle?
Fascinating poem. To be caught in the middle is dangerous. Enjoyed reading it. Good title.
Two stones Are thrown simultaneously From both sides I am afraid I might be pulverized......touching expression with nice theme. Beautiful poem nicely executed.
(cont.) ....to MyPoemList. bri :) p.s. i like Akhtar (see his comment, below) , BUT why does he mention dirty politics? ? ? i see none mentioned here.? ?
(cont.) ..after reading stanza one, but before reading stanza two, i was thinking of the expression between a rock and a hard place. THEN you mention Two stones! ! ! could the two stones be people you know e.g. your parents, grandparents, OR do you refer to groups of people whose political views differ from yours? Please, don't get pulverized! you are too nice of a person for that to happen! ! (cont.) ...
be·twixt: preposition & adverb - archaic term for between.........i like the word and i've heard it before, probably when i was reading Joys of Archaicisms by Bri Edwards! it is actually (at least) the second archaic aka old-fashioned word i've Googled today, after reading it/them in PH poems! the other was thither, an adverb meaning there. A thoughtful poem on dirty politics. In any case it's the common man who suffers. Very well wrote poem.
Absolutely someone will be afraid to confront the situation when two stones will thrown simultaneously from both sides....Extremely well written.....Thanks for sharing....10
