most of these suggestions? i agree with and follow. BUT.....a useful criticism can be worth more to me than a polite compliment. and....beauty and ugliness are in the eyes of the beholder i believe someone may have said....ok, it was just beauty i guess. but, you know what i mean? besides, why should something termed ugly necessarily be better to look at? .....and....feeding the land is ok, as long as i get fed by it....and.....people don't always have much to celebrate and i would not always deny them the freedom to complain....and.....why should the stars be better than the mud to look at? .....when was the last time you compared the two? .....some mud can be attractive and comforting. or at least interesting. thanks for sharing. bri

You should write 365 of these, one inspirational thought and action for each day of the year.
Better to write beautiful poetry... Rather than fail to share knowledge... Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem...
So many rights and wrongs, I for one fail on so many, maybe just a human flaw. *note to self* must try harder. Great sentiments Val.
A really great poem, about what we should be like. a fantastic write.
This is on a par with 'Desiderata'. Recovery programmes could be built around this.
A timely and uplifting reminder to be positive as it is all too short and fleeting instead of an enduing sentence. I also liked the line Better to dance in the rain Rather than weep under the sun, a terrific write.
A poem of real substance and lessons we all have to learn through life.. Love the lines (Better to dance in the rain...Rather than weep under the sun I spent quite a while lost and weeping now I smile in the rain. Bravo on a mighty fine piece. Karen
This poem reminded me of something I read at work..ie..'Don't ever look down on anyone unless it is to help them up'. This piece just reminded me of that. Very nice read with much wisdom. Thankyou. Regards....Sharon.
