My Better Half
NyaMwalo your love has built me,
As I, prepare to seek daily bread,
I smile boldly,
Knowing well you got my back,

I walk through valley of life,
Like Goliath,
Drawing strength from you,
You are my pillar,

If I could ask God for anything more than you,
Then I would be deceiving myself,
You are so special,
Special than winning a lottery jackpot,

Do you remember,
From nothing you build this palace,
Yes! From hunger,
To abundant blessings,

Baby how would I be without you?
From being mocked,
Landlord locking the door,
To real estate,

I love you so much my queen,
This is not a story about women controling me,
Of a woman who gave everything to his soulmate,
I will live to honor and respect you
