Better End
He was driving along a country road in a sad mode.
When he left his best friend on the side of the road.
His dog looked so lost and confused.
As he drove away, he had the blues.
This was no way to treat his best friend.
There should have been a better end.
A sad poem yet in the end there was a realization that the act was not right. I hope he did rectify the wrong he committed. A wonderful poem well crafted.10
