Betrayal.....i see it every where... its bitter... its because we are very forgetful....and broken hearts...im not sure if they can be mend as they were before breaking...well written....nice piece....and sad! thanx dear Cassandra!
A well written poem with an appropriate title. I do not know if the experience is autobiographical or from known people's lives. Whatever the case, the description is vivid. The way you held her, your voice when you spoke to her, Was like honey, flowing down a river. This is how it really looks in situations as described. The last two lines convey a well considered decision.
What a sad state it is for lovers when one's heart leaps and settles on another forsaking all promises and memories behind just for short time glory. I loved the expressiveness of the work. NICE WRITE!
