Best Prize Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Best Prize

Rating: 5.0

Was he waiting for this?
Certainly not,
He never expected it,
But he won the best prize,
He accepted it gleefully and wholeheartedly,
Indeed he became ecstatic.
Being surprised, he asked himself secretly,
"But how is it possible? "
His inner self answered him wisely,
"You certainly deserve this with your greatest feelings in this dingy realm."

A fascinating poem that captures the many wonders of life. Life sometimes is full of surprises.

Interesting poem exploring the mind of somebody who typically we might merely feel " congratulations' to but now it has begun a whole diagnosis of the receiver of the prize.
