Best Friend Poem by Jan E Smith

Best Friend

Rating: 5.0

How much do I owe you? And what will be your pay?
Your words of wisdom saved me, they brought me through the day.

Life can be a burden, one that's hard to bare.
And thoughts can be confusing, with no true friend to share.

I live my life in search of peace, it seems so hard to find.
I call you up, you comfort me, and clear my cluttered mind.

No other friend can make me feel as peaceful as you do.
So hear this now, I'll say it clear, thanks for being you.
