Bereaving Truth Poem by michael Smajda

Bereaving Truth

If God should ever permit you,
Would you come back to me?
Continue as husband and wife
As it once so used to be?

I miss not having you near me,
Us loving each other with care,
Knowing I'll never more see you
Sorrows me beyond what I can bear.
