Of the art gallery
Of ancient India
Scattered around
Nationwide
In the countryside
An informal museum
Of antique artworks
Decisively
The greatest instance.
Once upon a time
Wherein
The skilled artiste
Of historic times
Grabbing hold of
Magnificence
At its apex height.

A glimpse
Of the art gallery
Of ancient India
Designing
Potential shapes
To the objects
Looking live like
Though
Lifeless inanimate.
Whatever-
Within their reach
In the form
Of stone, iron, wood,
Gold, silver, diamond,
Cotton, clay, leather,
Filament, fibre, yarn,
Fur or fleece
Else everything
Working upon
Skilful expertise
As a team-
Sculptor, blacksmith,
Carpenter, goldsmith,
Potter, weaver, cobbler,
Tailor and barber
That of the epoch
Reflecting skills
On the soil of India.

A glimpse
Of the art gallery
Of ancient India
Figurines
With a crave
And conviction
With a belief
And faith
With a devotion
And dedication
On traditional pieces
Of the artworks.
Juxtaposing
Reviving old ethos
And culture
Endeavouring
To achieve perfection
And recognition
Breathing a life into
At open space workshops.
Accumulating
Art galleries of the era
Conjuring the rarest
Pieces of art-
‘Khajuraho Sculptures'
A unique creation
Through mind's eye
Using grid material
Meditating upon a life
Into the lifelessness.

A glimpse

Unyielding
Wonderful shapes
Antique artworks
Invoking a big dig
Provoking
The flow of thoughts.
