Benediction Poem by DM W

Benediction

Rating: 5.0

Although we are no longer able to
Decipher esoteric symbols and signs,
The holy Word won't deteriorate
Into brazen, hackneyed colloquialisms.
Although secular gods seem to prevail,
Grace resides in molecular structures.
Although the wastelands of the heart
Are vast, Love's remedies will still heal,
While calm angels watch over the world. And
The sun shall gleam on the fragments of hymns.

I often wonder how much hidden truth is held in The Vatican Library, is it as the whispers and legends say over time, suppressed truth. And if so why is it suppressed. But that's just whispers and legends and what is really hidden under The Sphinx or under that Forbidden Mountain in China. A poem of serene spiritual calm and a full score and sometimes I go off the beaten track, but for all the right reasons. Take care Dominic and I wish you well honourable and most noble knight.
