Take a deep look at the human world today
We are busy working our adult lives away
Thinking we are being of value to the world.
95% of all our work is eventually waste
The very purpose of work is benchmarking
One product or one person emerges out of many
The rest are just raising the playing field for him
So that others can disappear in his glow.
Social Media in my present time is proof
Thousands of applications died. Facebook stayed.
No one else can come and claim that space.
So they existed for Mark to be indestructible.
We talk of Capitalism and perfect competition.
With all choice for people to enter markets, few win.
The failures don't even know why they failed.
Blame it on people, markets, luck or technology.
Is there however an option, but to work?
If I choose to stay out, I cannot eat.
Roti, Kapda, Makaan - where will they come from?
So you better work. But get out of the matrix.
I realise the matrix and system that holds us together.
There are the reminders of the factory system here.
A man who just beat sheet metal now types keys.
We are all sad remains of an old industrial revolution.
The man still wins all the time. We are there as slaves
Left wing or the right wing still leads us to workplaces
Air conditioned rooms with soft seats are here to stay
All for raising benchmarks for the one who will stay
