Your poem begins with the most delicate sound effect and then the cows lumber into view, coping awkwardly with the snow, but oblivious to any higher concerns or meaning. But the poetry is much wiser than the grazing creatures and projects the wonder of ascent onto their clumsy but steady movements. And it quickly climaxes with a brief evocation of freedom such as climbers feel when they reach a summit.
