My doggie is bella inside and out
I love you so much you bring joy to my life
you are my precious baby
always such a good girl
never bad or a brat
I believe in everything you do
to know you is to love you
you open up people's hearts
when the groomer sent you home
and suspended you forever
I paid that 'overexpensive institution'
then stood up for your stubborn ways
I may be biased toward your cuteness
I took your side you can do no wrong
they have a problem if they can't see you
how I see you how most see you
so rose colored glasses make you look good to me
you are all good
oh bella bella your perfectly beautiful in mine eyes
for the last two months you have challenged me
so persnickety strongwilled like me
until even I give up lifting my hands in prayer
please God help me groom this hair-piled wild child
for hours
yet even when you are 'in trouble'
for your 5 minute time out
mommy loves you even then
yet I pay you in treats to have you do things my way
the smile on your cutie pie face lights up the sky
you love me
even when I'm gone too long
forget your food or treats
you are the poster child for agape
unconditional love
God brought you at just the right time as my most valued gift
you were the mysterious package that brought tears to my eyes
every one that meets you falls in love with your sweet spirit
life revolves around you so you stay young at heart like a puppy
somehow you made it to my bed gravitating slowly
never have you wavered always keeping your place mostly
except for when you're extra cold
those nights you snuggle up to my feet
from the foot of our bed you stand on guard keeping watch
for your convenience
your majesty
my bed is lowest to the floor
I am your elevator
when you call I am your butler
lol
you speak to me in so many words
yet not but in doggie body language
you have become an accomplished master of communication
but somehow I know what you want what you need
you have taught me well
you trust me the hands that feed you
I have not done so well with orchids
you survived yea!
I feel a tender loving pride in you being mine
you never complain
happily you howl when I come home
you sing with the family so adorably acapella
even on vacation
especially howling to the higher pitched songs like 'country roads'
or the happy birthday song
I love you sweet girl
who would ever compare to your lovliness
no other bella
you're not an angel a cat or a saint
you're my beautiful doggie
so loveable and specially made
just for me
