Being Smart Poem by Lamar Cole

Being Smart

When Elijah walked out on his wife.
He thought that he was being smart.
She left him so broke.
That he had to start selling apples from a cart.
She made him pay a lot of money for alimony and child support.
If she could, she would make him pay before he could fart.
