Being A Lost Christian Poem by Rita Hawkins

I love God, I really do
and I hope he can see I am sincere
I hope he knows I am being true.
But sometimes it is hard
to be a christian I don't know what to do.
and I believe he talks to people
but I am waiting for him to talk to me too.
I get so confused and twisted around
I feel alone at times, but do you?
I feel so lost that Jesus can't help
but then I look at the bible, he can make me new.
I pray and read the scipture daily
but at times it is hard to fill the shoe
of being a christian, it is easy to say
'I believe' but to do things when you don't have a clue
that is what makes it hard
but I got faith God will see me through.
