finally - the beginnings of the explanation I have been looking for. This poem is monumental and important. It delves deeply into the duality we have to carry as Lovers, inside we are suffering the carnage of those misspent attempts at Loving someone else, but on the outside we must carry ourselves as if we are perpetually unhurt and unafraid to try again. I love this poem so very much. It is so very very true, as are you, as are you!
