Behind the headlines papers share
Are Christians praying now,
Prayer warriors who kneel in prayer
Still asking why and how,
Yet students of God's prophecies
Still seek the Lord's return,
The Saviour called the Prince of Peace
In ways Man's yet to learn.

Behind the headlines printed large
Are stories never told,
Despite the fact that God took charge
And healed both young and old,
Though Good News sometimes comes to light,
There's so much more unsaid,
Yes, even when the nations fight,
God raises from the dead.

Though Israel often gets ignored
For all the good that's done,
Each Christian saint who serves the Lord
Must see lost souls get won.
The best that God has for this Earth
Has always been Good News,
Eternal life through second birth
For Gentiles and for Jews.

The papers may not even care
Since profits are their aim,
Yet God loves Christians everywhere
Who preach in Jesus Name!
