Wonderful poem Lodigiana! Great beat and flow to it and a superbly written message to reflect on.The sad truth revealed and politely hidden. The ostrich policy many today choose. Thank you so much Shaun, it is, i’m afraid, a sad reality that so often it’s easier to look behind closed eyes and see only what we want to see and studiously avoid the sights that we know we should work to change...so sad really and not a very good portrait of Mankind’ Really lovely to receive your comments as always, thank you so much for your encouragement and support. The judgements we make carelessly on our beliefs and lives, we only value wealth and power it helps this world survive With open eyes the world around is battered and unkind. Injustice, pain and hurt abound I think I will stay blind //// greatly written the earthly eyes see everything on the base of biassed; need to open the true eyes of conscience to judge neutrally!

Our conscience is telling us clearly where injustice and wrong lies..but still too many of us push that aside and look at the world through closed eyes so as not to have to face or more importantly, change, those things that need changing.Lovely, wise comments that I thank you for.Lodigiana x
