Begging For Chocolate Poem by Belle Wassermeister

Begging For Chocolate

Rating: 5.0

Oh, brother, please give me, I pray,
a bite of that there Milky Way.
Oh, sister, please don't be a rat;
break me a piece of your Kit Kat.

Gimme a break, gimme a break,
Kit Kar bars are better than steak!

If a genie could grant me some wishes,
the first would be for Hershey's Kisses,
and if I had to bet, I'd give you odds
that chocolate is the food of the gods!
