Befriended Poem by (TPAC) Alexander Coppedge

Befriended

It's a crying shame when your best friend is someone that hates you; acknowledging the deceit of others that are close, betraying your well-being, assured one thing that's fact; by your foe is provided, because of their malice intent up front.

It's totally wrong of me to pick one's worst enemy as your favorite buddy; preferring them completely as over those you were intended to love: but this pick at least will never alter its aim to cut down on your efforts, having no regrets.

Demons will always try to belittle you, definitely assured of that fact, attempting all their efforts aimed to always kill you: while those close are a gamble, roll of the dice, they might betray any course had by you of life.

So, here are my determined-to-be choices; given both their odds and their pros and cons, between the two offers set selections, I must pick the lesser evil of them.
