Before Your First Kiss Poem by Randy McClave

Before Your First Kiss

Remember this
Before your first kiss,
Is the person that you are with
Are they real, or are they a myth.
Can you believe who they are
Do they own their own car,
And do they have a real job
Or do they just steal and rob.
Do they ask or borrow your money
Then do they call you honey,
And do they only scream and complain
When it is their own pain.
Do they hold the door open for you
And are they always honest and true,
Do they always put you first
Do they ask you to go to their church.
Are they dependable to a fault
On their water melon do they put salt,
And do they like taking you out
And never do they scream and shout.
So, while you are contemplating
Before you even start dating,
So, remember before giving them your kiss
Always remember this.
