Before You Were A Man Poem by Randy McClave

Before You Were A Man

Rating: 5.0

Before you were a man
Before you said I can,
You were just a boy.
Before you were a boy
Holding unto a toy,
You were just a child.
Before you were a child
Dreaming and running wild,
You were just a baby.
Before you were a baby
Before you were even a maybe,
You were just an embryo.
Before you were an embryo
Before you began to grow,
You were just an egg.
Before were an egg
Before you became a powder keg,
You were just a thought of this man.
