Before You Lose Your Mind Poem by Hunter Skye

Before You Lose Your Mind

I understand the value of money,
But I don't understand why they die for the penny
All of these people cancerous and bloody
Workin for a future that isn't guaranteed

Don't stand in line let life pass you by
Follow the signs don't be a victim of your own mind
As they all study clumsily budding
Doing it for the money retire when they're 80

[: Run away leave it behind you served your purpose here
But before you lose your mind: ] x2
You still have time

Don't stop in the cross walk when my light turns green
I don't wanna be mean [: people are so ugly: ] x2
I don't understand why we are all here
We should learn to take time we only have a few years

When people seem to realize quality over time is worth
More than the sunlight in our short lives
We would see a difference
We could be the difference

[: Run away leave it behind you served your purpose here
But before you lose your mind: ] x2
You still have time

Now it is nothing but a story to tell
They're ganna be who they're ganna be
Till they're dead or in a cell
I still envy what the world would be
Without the money and if people weren't so ugly
