Bonnie this is a beautiful piece. thank you for it. It reminded me of my dream. At the end of last year, I had a recurring dream, in it, every night i would go home and help my parents on the farm, after sometime, life became the dream and i literally used to wonder where I was.. Thank you.

Bonnie Such an understanding you have of your Mother and how she did the best that she could. As children we have no understanding of how the job of Motherhood is not an easy one. And, I love the sense of smell you used to bring another depth to this poem. Lovely! Karin Anderson

What a beautiful poem about your mother. I loved how well you expressed your feelings. I too remember the days of my mom dressing up and the smells of her perfume. Wonderful images and deep feelings of love for your mom, here. A ten!
