Nice poem. I am forever fascinated by trees and their place in our lives. They hold such strength, beauty, and longevity. As you write, they also provide shelter, not only for us, but for so many animals. I always feel sad and wistful when I see a tree go down, either by design, or by nature. Thanks for sharing your poem. Well done.
