Before we leave the ground,
And on it's belly we enter,
Legacy is all we seek,
A good name but not well remembered,
Praises before the casket
As if the one left waited eagerly.
Before we leave the ground
To the lands so far unknown,
Where returning is impossible,
We chase the air,
We chase the sun
Instead or building our small box home
Where we may rest for so long.
Before we leave the ground,
We try acting like humans
While indeed we know
The demons we are,
The animals we are,
Just because what we want
Is eternal life
When a neighbor wriths with pain
And your laughter like a earthquake
Is loudly heard.
