I love birds, so I cannot read your poem without saying how much I liked it. Today I saw a Red Tailed Hawk in my yard. But I worry when I see him - he attacks and eats other little birds. But they know the danger and hide in the trees. Great poem, Pradip.
If the sparrows turn down to mere pictures on story books, it is going to be an irreparable loss to posterity... How we used to delight over their sight.... Now in our place, it is almost becoming extinct! Let the pretty lady and her brownish male find a nook to cuddle together.....! Thanks for your comment on my 300th poem!
Really it's hard to imagine that sparrows will ever go extinct. In the US it seems to me they are kind of the cockroaches of the bird family. There are so many of them. Here I do take delight in finches for example with their splash of color, like a flower in the shrubs, but sparrows? OK I know the Christian Bible says that God loves even them (they are so drab) , so maybe I need an attitude adjustment? Peace! : -)
