Before I Die Poem by Kostas Lagos

Before I Die

Rating: 5.0

People drop dead

And people cry

The air is thick

The rivers are dry

Where's the horizon

Where is the sky?

Won't speak the truth

And I won't lie

Cannot save the world

Not even try

Just want to live

Before I die

'Where's the horizon Where is the sky? ' - They both exist, but sometimes it is difficult to find. A poem that makes the readers put a pause and think, while reading. The last two lines are simply fantastic. The poem, so well written, deserves full marks and I heartily give it 5 Stars *****! I recommend this poem to be selected as the 'Member Poem of the Day' for any day soon.

nice rhyming. YOU probably expect to " live" after you die, as well. I just hope, for your poet's-sake, you don't end up in..... bri :)
