Bedroom Eyes Poem by Gio Masserati

Bedroom Eyes

These Bedroom Eyes
I'm saving for the One
A man who doesn't lie
Who keeps me on his mind

Authentic self
I want you in my life
Ingenuous to yourself
But what about me?
Disingenuous it seems
Duplicitous
You keep saying it
To make yourself believe
But deep inside you know the truth

And it Stinks

Insanity has got you on your knees
Forget the lies you've told yourself

Believe...Breathe

...Be Free

Quit telling me you want something
You Need
When all along you do the contrary
It's hard to believe the words
Even if I try
You're stuck between your ego and a lie

I can't help you
You've got to help yourself
I wanted so much for you
Believed your heart was true
But there you go again
I think you're stuck in your old ways
Been loving you for days
I'll keep my bedroom eyes
