Becoming Before Dying Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Becoming Before Dying

Rating: 5.0

Why do I sweat out in damned bars
Seeking out friends to loneliness?
My lost life is worth so much more!

Why freak out in Satan's playground?
Christ is just around the corner!

Why breathe your last breath not knowing
What you have just now become?

Evil disguise and Satan comes from all corners. To keep faith is Almighty is the only way out. Excellent poem.

Forget the bars, they leave you in the lurch. You can find all the friends you need in church.

I'm simply using literary licence. But I get your message, Belle. And Thank You kindly for the advice. Merry Christmas!

I've known people whose first home is the bar. None improved their lives.

David, I still know some. And you are correct...none are improving their lives. So tragic, because some of them have so much potential.
