Because I Believe. Poem by SY Wong ...

Because I Believe.

because i believe

because i believe i am not better, or, you lesser

because i believe
because i believe
please take me as i am

God did not restore my tooth but
instead, let it fell off peacefully without pain
because i believe, i pray to god all the time
let this or let that...
i prayed let this tooth come out peacefully
it did
it just did
the dentist refused to extract
it came off worn, peacefully
after seven days
i gave up on my aging teeth
glad still, i am still alive not as worn
the truth is i am holding my tooth and having fun reminiscing
.. all these years, all theses years..
my faithful tooth
did said goodbye to your lonely neighbors
without pain
what a big tooth..
