Beauty On The Screen Poem by George Samuel

Beauty On The Screen

I've found a clue,
A hidden blue,
Like a diamond in a hole,
Choke by rust, frost in the cold
But, not a sign to prove it's old.

Turn dim to light,
And blur into bright,
Make a sad flower spark
Again, with a joyful mark,
Behind, when the day is dark.

Same it has been,
Ever since it was seen,
No stain or crack,
Can make it black,
Permanent in value that does not slack.

It holds my heart,
So dear, so smart,
That nothing can come between,
Or share in the green,
Now, like a beauty on the screen.
