I agree with both comments below, that this is a beautiful poem, but it's not simplistic. There is a hinterlands the poem suggests which is not characterized by the spring frolic in these lines. There is where the liberation and high spirits evident on every line of the poem were achieved. This reminds me of certain victory songs scattered in biblical texts in which an individual takes joy in their contribution to community goals and their gratitude in having survived to appreciate the new world that now exists. The speaker admits to her own past failures of good will, namely, YOU GOT TANGLED IN MY CRIPPLED LIES, MY TROUBLED LULLABIES. That is an honest confession without any special pleading so that she looks better. The spring air clearly creates this pure atmosphere, but the honest admission of past mistakes as the speaker does also purifies the air. A poem like this answers one which expresses the truth in your bio EVEN THE BRIGHTEST ANGEL GETS TARNISHED OVER TIME. That is so true, but your poem counters it with the vision of spring as both an external and internal renewal.

Brightness of today is closer to heart. Beautiful humour. Very nicely drafted and shared poem.
