Below a hundred streams softly sing
Standing here upon this heavenly place
Makes me feel as mighty as a king.

This is a style I always feel comfortable with; where the voice of the poem seems to take on an additional personality, somewhere out of time; and the self is super present and super conscious of everything, and kind of balances above it all like a benediction. Really enjoyed this.

Hi John - a lovely poem with good form - two balanced quatrains and a consistent rhyme pattern x a x a in bothe verses. It needs a little work on the FLOW (METRE) but i will discuss this with you. The two verses balance each other. In verse one - Nature complements his Sovereignity. In verse two the beauty of nature complements the beauty of his QUEEN. Because of the delicacy of the words and their structure I will award it a MAX for elegance, Yours in poetry - JOHN

This is gorgeous and to say that as beautiful as nature is, even IT doesn't compare...that is saying alot....so beautifully said with few words too. :)

I like the backdropp of heaven in this short but lingering poem, not to forget th beauty of dancing flowers and the endless fields of green. The queen makes a grand entrance to make this poem a totally fulfilling one. 10 love Karin
