Scott Moulthrop19 minutes ago I really enjoyed this philosphical piece, though several of your comparisons give me pause. At the beginning you seem to be stating that we are fixated on surfaces, making our judgements. Then it seems to say we give our surfaces their solidity intentionally, with the goal of hiding darkness. Lastly, you turn to things we have lost, or will lose, to imagination itself and end with emptiness. I think though, you miss the point that we are striving for a perfection we can never reach, an idea of happiness. And, perhaps, that is all the meaning and reason we need. Comment +1 nice
