The sun's warm rays caressed her face,
As she awoke from her secret hiding place.
Petals stretching, opening to the day,
As the last shadows of night slipped away.
Her outer petals, once closed and tight,
Now part to reveal her heart of light.
Her inner soul, a delicate, radiant core,
Sways with the breeze, dancing evermore.
Sweet perfume drifts softly through the air,
Drawing butterflies and bees to linger there.
Passersby pause, enchanted by her grace,
A smile forming gently upon each face.
As the sun dips low and shadows grow long,
The moon rises softly, quiet and strong.
She folds her petals, shy once more,
Guarding her beauty until dawn's encore.
