Beautiful Disaster Poem by Christopher Cariad

Beautiful Disaster

Rating: 3.5

I poured my heart to you
But you spewed it out
Upon this dried dirt.
I gave you my best
And seen you giving nothing in return,
But breaking my heart
And laughing in its image.
I scurry away from this heart beaten pastured.
Engaging this new thrill
To a place where hearts grow.
Away from your abuse
Is where i will be,
Where this heart beats forever
In the land of a beautiful disaster.

I liked the title, drew me in, then you used it for a very stong ending. Good write!
