No second thoughts, no hesitations and no cautions.
Just pure courage and adrenaline pinging in every vein.
I dived deep into your ocean, careless and unrelenting.
Your ocean so beautiful with peril hidden underneath.
I cannot swim, I don't know how but your waves swayed me to my slumber.
I dreamed dreams and you turned them into reality.
As beautiful as your ocean irradiates, so is the peril beneath so dreadful.
The crashing of your waves drowned me into an unwanting abyss.
That everytime I became breathless, you resuscitate me with your kiss.
And it has become a cycle, a life I began to know in your paradise.
How hope and exhaustion rolled in every ripple you created.
But you know nothing of my tears, they got lost in the vastness of your ocean.
You pushed me ashore and you pulled me back over and over.
I was running out of air, I was running out of strength, I was running out of me.
How long will you keep on playing this game?
I may not survive before the sunset ends nor before the eventide begins.
Let me lie on the shore where I belong.
Let me breathe the air that I used to breathe.
Let me just adore you from where I should be.
Let me just fall in love with you everyday from this shore.
Let me be where I should be,
So I will survive and live in eternity.
Let me be.
So I can be me again, the person you once knew.
The person who loves your ocean - beautiful and perilous.
