In my opinion the key line is the following: 'He took a little bit of everyone's in my family'. Poetry's power that succeeds in expressing some things otherwise long to explain.
aww thats sad...this is a very good one liked it! Pets always bring joy to someone...no matter how long you've had it...understand it!
You express the connection to the pet very well...Pets are part of the family and their loss is felt on much the same level and and many things in life some memories are sweet and some tragic... Very good job! ! !
