Beads Of Gold Part Ii Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

Beads Of Gold Part Ii

Rating: 5.0

All that I have rejected, I realise
Are valuable beyond estimation
Regret will not redress, I do know;
Yet, to thee I offer my confession

When there was day light all over
I was blind to see the glory of sun
Now when I am gone really blind
The light I seek no more gives in

I was unaware in abundant rain
The thirst of those in utter drain
As I drown in floods don't drain
I pray I were in a drought's pain

Life is short and every opportunity that we let it pass with our own eyes, will never come again. The only thing we have, are regrets and lessons in life that serve as our guide in the future

You are cent percent correct. Regrets do not bear any fruit but the lessons they teach are valuable

A wonderful poem that resonates with me. Yes, there were so many things in life that offered us great opportunities but we never took advantage of them.

Yes, dear RMJ. Opportunities have not been made use of for advantage for fear of leading it to disadvantage
