Be the one who wakes me up with that inspirational good morning message on my phone,
The one who cheerfully compliment how I look for the day,
The one who checks on me to see how I'm faring through my difficult moments,
The one who's got my back and is ready to help me,
The one who stands by me when everyone has no reason to do so,
The one who's warm arms I run into when my goings get tough,
The one who's soft hands never get tired of drying up my tears,
The one who's doors are always open to graciously welcome me in,
The one who remembers my birthday and sends me a cool gift,
The one who's ever ready to pick me up whenever I fall,
The one who's cosy shoulders I can always rest my head,
The one who's beautiful hugs and kisses gives me assurance of a better tomorrow,
The one who's heartbeat is yearning to see me fulfilled and successful,
The one who's ever willing to encourage and lead me to where I can't myself,
The one who's not ashamed to call me a beloved brother or best friend,
The one who's ready to run to me and embrace me at the gate,
The one who's never too busy to mentor, coach and guide me,
The one who won't be fed up with my challenges or my mistakes,
The one who cautiously protects me from harm and danger,
The one who's bosom I seek peace whenever I'm troubled,
The one who covers my shame and shows me genuine love and compassion,
The one who mercifully forgives me indvance even before I step on his toes,
The one who's willing to share his last bit with me,
The one who's constantly praying, interceding and blessing my life,
The one who applauds and praise the little efforts I make,
The one who wouldn't sleep until I'm comfortably asleep,
The one who's smile I look forward to at the beginning and end of each day.
