So is ever an ambiguous poem Made in mould of modernism. the reason in the heart and thinking of the poet we do not know. emanation of poems in the mind of the poet is a mystery. modernism shall not kill the inspiration........... tony

True we should learn to appreciate things rather pinpointing, because nobody knows the real reason for every poem, other than the mood and situation of the person who writes, I just scribble to make or feel light, thanks

poems are written for many reasons a true poet leads with his heart.

You have rightly said the thing which everyone has to keep in mind while reading and assessing the writes of their friends. Well written sir.

A poem should be easy to read, easy to understand and a joy to think about. Too much ambiguity sometimes leave the readers clueless, which is not desirable. Kudos to Valsa George and Elena Sandu for their perceptive comments.

Though ambiguity is treated as cool and in keeping with modern trends, too much ambiguity mars the beauty of the poem. Plain speaking with lyrical beauty is preferred in a poem to one loaded with too many allusions and cryptic and enigmatic statements! Nicely put! !
