This is a fine poem. It's about something important. It has excellent imagery, and it's very well written. Larry Beck

Certainly miles of truth in this poem. Society's rigid gender rules affect both sexes, often tragically. We do have a choice, we can go along with all these rules about being a man or a woman, and reap the obvious rewards of being an obedient servant, or we can refuse. I cry all the time. I'm a regular cry-baby and proud of it. I'm not so sure that our manhood should be gaged on how active our tear ducts or-or how deeply we feel the things that happen to us here on this earth. Thank you for the poem.

Reckon your inner man's doing fine if he's so wise, Mpho!
