Basilisk - Βασιλίσκος Poem by Kostas Lagos

Basilisk - Βασιλίσκος

Rating: 5.0

A viper unseen

Has bitten us all

The basilisk of disquiet

Sits now on his throne

Spreading its venom

Throughout the world

Our dark days are here

But this too will pass

Yes. The virus venom. No doubt the darkness would be soon over. Inspiring piece 10+

A vivid depiction of great fear and darkness but tinged with hope. Yes, we shall not be consumed by those elements that shower evilness and darkness. We must conquer them by the force of our goodness. Brilliantly penned with superb imagery as always.
