Basic Skills Are Fading...

Schools were set up to teach us to think, with our mind,
with technology you find information faster, with less use of the brain, all of the time.
No more remembering math equations, in their heads,
now children are thought to use hand held calculators instead.
Many days to research and arrange essays, in our mind,
now can be found, and printed fast, with a computer on line.
Sales clerks needed math skills, to wait on customers all day,
now without registers to make change, some would lose their jobs, in a fast way.
Many graduates from schools, and cannot spell or write, a few lines,
what use to be basic skills, are fading away over time.
