This is so well-written. I favor writing poetry just as I wake up and many of my own have this dream-like quality that comes just at dawn. I especially liked the line 'My mind raced like wild lightning through a forgotten time.' and knew that my mind had been there many times. I hear songs dancing across the sky a lot.
