Baptism Poem
In swirling waters, pure and bright
A symbol of cleansing washing away the night,
Of sin and shame, of guilt and fear,
As baptism promises, hope draws near
The joy of the Lord, a radiant beam,
Illuminates the Soul, a heavenly theme.
The Holy Spirit enters, like a gentle breeze,
Bringing peace and comfort as the heart bows in ease.
With gratitude and thankfulness, we lift our voice,
To thank the Lord for this precious choice.
For special friends who journey with us too,
Together sharing in this journey anew.
In baptisms waters, we find our way
To new beginnings and renewal, come what may.
As we take the plunge, the Lord's presence guides
Into the future, where the Trinity abides.
