LIVE AND LET LIVE

Kim Jong Un* loves shark fin soup
others too in this odd group

ten crore sharks killed each year
that this is odd, is quite clear

fins are severed, sharks left free
to die; who cares in deep sea?

when so much other food exists
this just means man is misfit

while all animals eat to live
man lives to eat; high time we grieve.

for animals, let man bother;
his IQ, not for dust to gather;

species together, we enchant
ill served by man's cruel penchant

man should live and let live
there is enough, for all to thrive

many countries have banned killing of sharks for food.
It is legal in some countries.
But killing goes on unabated!
